In a nutshell, my job as the General Manager is:

4. Guest Experience, guest satisfaction, brand standards and targets are achieved
5. The asset is being well maintained
There are many things that impressed me be about being a student at Vatel /SUIC, which helped me get to where I am now. The partnership with Vatel and the chance to earn not only a degree from SUIC but also a European bachelor degree from Vatel was very beneficial. The opportunity to have an exchange semester in France is something that really set the school apart from other hotel management degrees offered in Thailand. I also loved the combination of academic classes and practical internships of the program, as this gave me a great overview of the hospitality industry and I felt that this really prepared me for my career in the hotel industry.
Vatel’s close connections and relationships with industry experts / leaders was also instrumental for my career as these helped me to have my last internship in the 4th year with an Accor hotel (Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit) and now 9 years later I am still working for the same company as a General Manager of a different Accor property.
